Chapter One: Azora
Azora walked along the calm beach and wondered what he could say to comfort the young man who was his son that walked with heavy footsteps beside him. He looked out to the horizon and saw that the sun was just beginning to set. The sky above them was changing from it's brilliant bright blue color to a mix of orange, yellow, pink, and purple. When Azora looked to his side, he noticed that his son wasn't next to him. He turned around and was about to say something but, his son cut him off before he could with a wave of his hand.
"No, it can't be my son. You cannot put my boy in this mess." He says, his voice stumbling as he spoke, just like his feet when he walked forward a little. His body looked weighed down by fear and concern for his family. Azora wished that he didn't have to be the one to confirm the long dreaded prophecy. Azora glanced at the golden sandy floor as the tide rolled in. The foamy blue water splashes the bottom of their legs before rolling back to the sea to repeat it's process.
