Book Review: The 100 by Kass Morgan

Today I just finished reading The 100 and I actually really loved it. Here is the summary in my own words.

The 100 is by author Kass Morgan.

No one has set foot on earth in years since the nuclear war that wiped the planet. Since then those who have survived had lived on spaceships called, Walden, Pheonix, and Arcadia. But now, 100 juvenile delinquents are being sent to earth to recolonize the planet. Will it be a success and will the 100 get a second chance at life, or will be a complete suicide mission.

This story follows four of the 100 and their journey. Clark was arrested for one reason but is haunted by the truth. Wells, came to earth for the girl that he loves but, will the love be rekindled. Bellamy is a stow away on the dropship so that he can come to earth to protect his sister. And Glass, had managed to escape but finds that life on the ship is more dangerous than staying on the drop ship would've been.

My thoughts:

This novel is dark and riveting like a lot of the reviews say and I couldn't put the book down whenever I picked it up and started reading it. And as i'm writing this I find myself missing the atmosphere of the book and I miss reading about the 100 on earth and the people on the three ships, Walden, Arcadia, and Phoenix. Over all I gave this a five out of five stars on Goodreads and i'm excited to watch the show. I've actually watched the first episode of season one already but i'll have to do a separate review on that. Oh also my favorite characters were Bellamy and Clark.
